Prerequisite:

Your system must have Microsoft .Net Framework 4.6.1, If you don't have then you can download from link given below in next section. Before download you should check your windows whether it is of 32 bits or 64 bits and download accordingly.

You should have a login id, which you will get after free registration.

Download XLToTally Application and generate Serial Numner. If Expired the renew.

Install the Application, Activate and download Excel File in which you will complie the data to be imported in Tally.

How to check your window system type like whether it is of 32 bit or 64 bit has been shown in the below images. Right click on Thispc Icon/ My Computer Icon and select properties as shown in the below image:

Check the System Type as highlighted in the below image.

Also ensure that excel data is in the prescribed format, excel file is provided in the download link below. All the mandatory fields must be filled.

You can enter the ip address of the computer where your Tally is open and also enter port no on which Tally is installed, if it is not 9000. you can configure Tally by pressing F12 as shown in below immage.
